The socialist Venezuelan government-owned oil firm, Citgo, donated $500,000 to help cover the costs of President Donald Trump’s inauguration. It called Venezuela’s spending into question under Nicolas Maduro, Hugo Chavez’s protege, as people are starving and the country’s cash reserves are dwindling quickly.

Apparently, bakers are now in the crosshairs of the socialist Venezuelan government headed by Nicolas Maduro. Per Legal Insurrection, four bakers were arrested for not using wheat in baking regular bread and their union is demanding a meeting with Maduro to tell him why his demands are tough for bakers (and to free the bakers).
Venezuela, once a democratic government and stable economic power, is now facing a steep economic decline thanks to the socialist policies of Nicolas Maduro. Their foreign cash reserves has now withheld down to $10 billion.
