The Democrats haven’t gotten the Senate to budge on appointing a new nominee to the Supreme Court after the death of conservative justice Antonin Scalia, so Obama is blaming the GOP. But, it’s rare for an appointment to be made in a presidential election year. Who is on the wrong side of history?
Looks like Democratic donors spent a lot of money to try to swarm GOP senators on the Senate Judiciary Committee and it appears to be all for naught.

Senate Republicans on the Judiciary Committee may not hold fast against Obama’s inevitable progressive nominations to the highest court in the nation.
Loretta Lynch, nominated by Obama to replace outgoing Attorney General Eric Holder, will be the subject of a two-day hearing. Republicans plan on grilling her over Obama’s propensity to use executive action to circumvent Congress, but we’ll see if that happens.
