In an Obama legacy piece at the Los Angeles Times, the writers admitted the reality that Obama was a war-time president, despite Obama’s criticisms of his predecessor George W. Bush: But Obama leaves a very different legacy as he prepares to hand his commander-in-chief responsibilities to Donald Trump. U.S. military forces have been at war […]
Excuse me?! Obama ignores his own foreign policy weaknesses and the disaster that is America’s policy toward ISIS and Syria.
It was a good response to a question about authorizing use of force in cases like Syria’s civil war:
But, no action has been taken against the Syrian regime led by dictator Bashar al-Assad, so there is no red line in play, Obama White House.
So much for Obama’s red line in Syria, where Assad and his regime conducted at least 40 chemical attacks.
Oh, as if the last red line worked for the Obama administration, right? Wrong, it didn’t work in Syria and I doubt it’ll work here.
So much for that red line from Obama some years ago, right? Now Assad could be an ally of the U.S.? Wow.
