It was actually a decent monologue, for once, outside of the cop narrative thrown in there. Question is, was the lynching and rape segment actually funny?
Maybe the caucus will follow suit, maybe they won’t. But bring out the popcorn, the liberal-on-liberal criticism is fun to watch over in Hollywood.
Of course we are slightly kidding about racist Hollywood (see Sony executives’ e-mails laced with racist remarks), but after all the hoopla about civil rights and police brutality there was no praise of “Selma,” which documented the civil rights movement through the eyes of Martin Luther King, Jr.
