Now, after all the legal challenges to ObamaCare and how it still remains unpopular, people are worried that the Medicaid expansion under the health care law will cost more money than anticipated.
Good, considering that the states will have to foot an astronomical bill when federal assistance ends. American taxpayers don’t need another expense to pay for after ObamaCare or other Obama regulations.
In reality, the GOP just keeps on caving. The federal money tied to Medicaid expansion is too tempting for GOP governors, and many are opting in, even though the states will probably face a huge windfall when federal funds dry up.
Medicaid payments to doctors are going to fall between 43-50% soon, leaving recent Medicaid enrollees under ObamaCare out in the cold (via the New York Times).
