Not a good result for prosecutor Marilyn Mosby. She went 0-for-6 in trying to get charges upheld in Freddie Gray’s injury and subsequent death in a Baltimore police transportation van. Gray’s death led to protests and riots that destroyed several businesses in Baltimore.

The defense attorneys for the six arrested police officers said that the state prosecutor, Marilyn Mosby, has a conflict of interest in the case as her husband is a city councilman over the district where Gray died. They ask that she be recused (i.e. removed) from the case.
