Another liberal narrative is debunked, this time, hydraulic fracturing does not contaminate groundwater. Hydraulic fracturing is known as “fracking,” and is a way to extract oil from the ground. A Duke University study, after three years, said they did not see groundwater contamination in their study, only surface water due to spilling accidents.
The pro-fracking ruling is at the center of this move by the Obama Justice Department.

The Obama administration released a new set of rules regarding the oil extraction practice known as fracking, or hydraulic fracturing. Many supporters of fracking saw the new crackdown on their industry as another attempt to shut them down. It’s no secret that the Obama administration doesn’t like energy independence by way of fracking.
