Dear General Pace:

Until you provided your personal view on homosexuality to the Chicago Tribune, you probably didnít realize that freedom of speech is a right that the politically correct donít give to people like you. We want you to know that you have an absolute right to express your point of view and there is no reason for you to apologize. We are living in strange times when smoking is considered a serious danger to oneís health, and something which cannot be tolerated in most areas of public life, but a lifestyle linked to a raging epidemic of disease and death is regarded as a civil right that must not be criticized and even deserves to be celebrated.
