Dear Mr. Roman:

By disavowing the use of the term “illegal alien” to describe non-citizens who enter the U.S. illegally, your organization has been exposed as a special interest group not devoted to accuracy and fairness in the media. Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in Media was correct when he said that your approach was comparable to calling child molesting man-boy love. You should be helping to expose the nature of this growing problem, including the rising costs foisted on the health care system by illegals and the contagious diseases they are spreading into the general population. The Spring 2005 issue of the Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons has a major article, “Illegal Aliens and American Medicine,” about this. Please read and report on it.
