Dear Mr. Gigot:

The Journal’s editorial criticism of Rep. DeLay as being a big government conservative is hypocritical since your paper benefits from $5 million from the federally-funded Corporation for Public Broadcasting. We note that the April 22 edition of your publicly-funded show included a discussion of DeLay and that panelist Bret Stephens said that “discretionary [federal] spending on his watch has just gone out the window.” That adds to the hypocrisy because your editorial page benefits from that discretionary spending. When can we expect the Journal or your TV program to address this?
