Dear Mr. Walton:

Eason Jordan resigned from CNN after charging that U.S. military forces deliberately killed journalists in Iraq. Backing away from this charge, as he did, doesnít mitigate the damage that he has caused. He defamed brave U.S. fighting men and women in Iraq and gave aid and comfort to the enemy during a time of war. The only way to truly show that CNN is backing away from this charge is to issue a direct public apology to our military. Jordanís apology didnít go far enough and he attempted to blame others for the controversy that he created.
