Dear Mr. Shapiro:

NBC News correspondent Maria Shriver was forced to quit the network because her Republican husband was elected governor of California. She was said to have a conflict of interest. But Linda Fasulo, who covers the U.N. for NBC News, received $26,000 from the pro-U.N. lobby to write a pro-U.N. book that includes Tom Brokaw’s endorsement. Fasulo has violated journalism ethics codes prohibiting the acceptance of outside money from special interest groups, and your network is letting her get away with it. Is it wrong to be married to a Republican but acceptable to be a shill for the U.N.? When will you get serious about ethical violations?
