Dear Ms. Karpatkin:

Your letter in response to those who have questioned you about the honesty of Consumers Union having rated the Suzuki Samurai "not acceptable" did not challenge Suzuki Motors' claim that your own tests showed that it was hard to even get the Samurai's wheel's off the ground. Nor did you dispute the claim that CU disregarded the findings of the NHTSA and other countries that tested the car and found it safe. You say that CU strongly believes that all its statements about the Samurai are true. How can it can be true that CU found the car "easily rolls over in turns" if it took over 37 attempts by your test drivers to get two of its wheels off the ground? If you admit that is true, how can the statement that it easily rolls over be true?
