Accuracy in Media

WASHINGTON — Accuracy in Media (AIM) praised President Bush today for drawing attention to how the terrorists in Iraq are using the media to accomplish their objectives.

The terrorists, Bush said, “have nothing to offer the Iraqi people. All they have is the capacity and the willingness to kill the innocent and create chaos for the cameras.”

The President’s remarks came on a day when the Washington Post reported on how pro-terrorist Sunni Muslims in Iraq “love Cindy Sheehan” and get energized by watching anti-war protests from America on satellite television.

“The terrorists are not winning on the battlefield,” said AIM editor Cliff Kincaid. “But they are winning in the media. Anti-war protests are fueling the killing of American military personnel and civilians in Iraq.”

In a commentary posted on the AIM website today (, Kincaid ties anti-war protests directly to the loss of American lives on the battlefield.
