WASHINGTON, October 18, 2011 – Cliff Kincaid, Director of Accuracy in Media’s Center for Investigative Journalism, today released a report detailing biased coverage in support of the Occupy Wall Street movement in outlets like The Washington Post and Pacifica Radio.
“The message of the protests in New York City and Washington, D.C. is that if you want property, private or public, take it,” Kincaid said. “A confrontation over the Wall Street protests will undoubtedly mean higher ratings for the media, who will cry crocodile tears for the ‘people’ resisting the police. But the real people who are law-abiding and watch this spectacle unfold will say that it’s about time that justice was done.”
