Accuracy in Media

It appears the liberal media is not calling the Somali refugee-turned-knife-attacker a ‘terrorist, nor are the media calling him a refugee. Instead, they call him a college student, and avoid mentioning ties to radical Islam and the Islamic State. See for yourself:

  • ABC News: “Ohio State University Student recounts how he was slashed by attacker during on-campus chaos”
  • CBS News: “Ohio State Attacker may have been inspired by radical messages”
  • Chicago Tribune: “Ohio State attacker was angry about treatment of Muslims, official says”
  • CNN: “Investigators believe Ohio State attacker was inspired by ISIS”
  • Los Angeles Times: “Knife-wielding man who wounded 11 in Ohio State University attack was a student”
  • NBC News: “Ohio State Attack: Friend says Abdul Razak Ali Artan ‘Loved America’”
  • New York Times: “Suspect is killed in attack at Ohio State University that injured 11”
  • TIME: “What to know about Ohio State University attacker Abdul Razak Ali Artan”
  • USA Today: “Islamic State: OSU attacker was ‘solider’ of group”
