Terry McAuliffe, whose Attorney General Mark Herring enraged gun rights advocates and state legislators after he revoked reciprocation of out-of-state gun permits, signed a compromise bill into law last week. It will restore the reciprocation of gun permits with other states, but required tighter restrictions on domestic abusers and put into place voluntary gun checks at gun shows.
