A Seattle television station fired a staffer for allegedly doctoring footage of President Trump’s speech Tuesday evening — making it appear that that Trump’s tongue was drooping out of his mouth and his skin color to be bright orange.

A side-by-side comparison of the speech that aired live on CNN Tuesday night versus what was broadcast later on FOX Q13 (pictured above) shows the video manipulation.

The differences were spotted by political observers, resulting in the station terminating the employee.

Erica Hill, Q13 news director, issued a statement to the Seattle Times addressing the issue.

“This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light,” Hill said. “We’ve completed our investigation into this incident and determined that the actions were the result of an individual editor whose employment has been terminated.”

The station didn’t identify the fired employee.
