Per U.S. Policy, Obama and State Dept don’t Recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of Israel

It’s been a longstanding policy of the U.S. to not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel, due to Palestinian-Israeli negotiations over the years. It was not going to change under Obama, that’s for sure.
