Accuracy in Media

So far, the mainstream media has not covered the most recent anti-tax cuts messaging by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Pelosi originally referred to the benefits from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act as “crumbs” to American workers, but walked back those comments after the GOP criticized her for belittling tax cuts and its effects.

Pelosi apparently glanced over the employee bonuses and enhanced benefits which have been announced by over 350 companies and corporations in making her original comments. A pro-free market and non-partisan organization, Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce compiled a comprehensive list of these announcements spurred by the tax cuts.

Now, Pelosi came up with another messaging line to rail against the tax cuts, this time, the abbreviation of “bullsh**.”

At her weekly press conference, she debuted the line:

“The Republicans were saying ‘oh it will pay for itself,’ we know that it doesn’t, just ask Bruce Bartlett, anyone who says that these tax cuts pay for themselves — it’s not true, it’s nonsense, and it’s BS.”

No mainstream media outlet covered those specific remarks save for conservative outlet The Daily Caller.
