Sean Hannity flip-flopped live on his Fox News show during a discussion on Robert Mueller and the investigation into allegations the Trump campaign colluded with Russia.
First, Hannity said:
“They’re [Democrats and anti-Trump supporters] trying to change the story. At this hour, the New York Times is trying to distract you. They have a story that Trump wanted Mueller fired sometime last June and our sources, and I’ve checked in with many of them, they’re not confirming that tonight.”
Hannity changed his tune 40 minutes later and then cued up a car chase video to end the segment, saying:
“We have sources tonight confirming to Ed Henry, that yeah, maybe, Donald Trump wanted to fire the special counsel [Mueller] for conflict…You know we’ll deal with this tomorrow night.”
