More private sector interaction in the economy, combined with state influence, can be a good thing regarding free market economics and governance. The Washington Post attempted to paint a negative picture of free market principles in a recent article about President Trump’s proposed budget cuts to the federal government.
Instead of making a case against the free market and for more government spending and regulations, the Washington Post made a compelling case for the free market and less regulations:
Simply put, government would be smaller and less involved in regulating life in America, with private companies and states playing a much bigger role.
