There is a lot of controversy about the RAISE Act, a recently-proposed bill on reducing legal immigration.

The Center for Immigration Studies (CIS), in an interview with the Daily Caller, pointed out that recent coverage of the bill by CNN ignored important data in a recent study by the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. CNN claimed that the United States would lose 4 million jobs and be two-percent smaller due to the RAISE Act.

However, CIS pointed out that the study found that the unemployment rate would be reduced, with less immigrants coming into the country, and it could lead to more jobs being held by American citizens and not immigrants.
