Former President Barack Obama endorsed Emmanuel Macron in the French presidential elections that took place yesterday. Marine Le Pen, his opponent, lost the election by a significant margin. Most projections have Macron winning at least 60% of the vote, with Le Pen getting a little over 38% of the vote.
Obama is now 1-for-2 in European elections. He pleaded with the British to reject ‘Brexit’ (or the United Kingdom leaving the European Union (EU)), and the British voters decided to reject Obama’s plea and voted ‘yes’ to leave the EU.
