Obama’s predecessor, George W. Bush, made it a habit to not comment on Obama’s presidency for his two terms. Obama did not promise the same courtesy to his successor, Donald Trump, and after Trump’s recent refugee vetting executive order, Obama issued a statement critical of Trump.
That didn’t take long; it took ten days for Obama to break his silence:
