The New York Times paid for an advertisement to air during the Oscars awards ceremonies, which talked about the need to find and report on the truth. Our chairman, Don Irvine, pointed out that the ad would appeal to the liberal audience at the Oscars. President Donald Trump criticized the Times for the ad and challenged them to try to be more accurate and fair in their reporting via Twitter.
For first time the failing @nytimes will take an ad (a bad one) to help save its failing reputation. Try reporting accurately & fairly!

The National Rifle Association (NRA) also took issue with their liberal media bias and released a video that mocked the New York Times’ ad, which pointed out the discrepancies of issues that the liberal newspaper covered and did not cover.
