Melania Trump was called a “hooker” by an unnamed New York Times reporter, who was outed by supermodel Emily Ratajkowski via Twitter. Granted, being outed via Twitter is not the best way to go, but why make the remark to begin with?
Sat next to a journalist from the NYT last night who told me “Melania is a hooker.” Whatever your politics it’s crucial to call this out for

For the record, Michelle Obama has been called a bevy of insults during her eight years as the First Lady, but hooker was not one of them. Also, liberal reporters did not insult Michelle Obama anonymously, unlike the case with Melania Trump. However, the Washington Post has a list of all the insults toward Michelle Obama. We wonder if they’ll publish one about the Trumps soon (probably not).
It also begs the question if a conservative-leaning reporter was accused of it, would that reporter be named by now? Why the secrecy, New York Times?
Melania Trump did thank those who offered support for her during this controversy via Twitter:
Applause to all women around the world who speak up, stand up and support other women! @emrata #PowerOfEveryWoman #PowerOfTheFirstLady
