Kara McCullough, the Miss USA pageant winner, stirred the pot when she said that health care is not a privilege and that feminism should be “equalism,” or equal opportunities for both genders. She later clarified and walked back her remarks, saying health care should be a right, but her point was already made for her.
McCullough works for the U.S. federal government as a chemist in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
