Well, we can safely say that the liberal media is not a fan of the Second Amendment in the United States. But, it is interesting to read a NBC News article detailing why the British police do not arm 90% of their police officers, even during times of radical Islamic terrorism (foreign or homegrown).
In the article, the British people do not have a history of owning firearms, unlike the Americans, and the British police mindset is to police without intimidation. However, after the ISIS-inspired terrorist attack at Parliament, this mindset calls into question about gun rights in the United Kingdom:
The article inadvertently brings up the broader question: Is it safe to only have a portion of a country’s police force armed with firearms in the face of terrorist attacks?
