My Pillow founder Michael Lindell, a Trump fan and born-again Christian, put up $1 million to a new movie which takes a critical look at Planned Parenthood.
Lindell’s investment is one-sixth the entire production budget of Unplanned, which comes from the same filmmakers of the Christain films God’s Not Dead and I Can Only Imagine.
In addition to funding the movie, Lindell also makes a cameo appearance bulldozing a Planned Parenthood site to make way for the headquarters of an anti-abortion group called 40 Days for Life. “I’m pro-life and I’m happy to do it,” Lindell told the Hollywood Reporter.
Lindell is a former cocaine and alcohol addict who founded My Pillow in 2004. His company employs 1,600 people and has sold 43 million pillows, one of which President Trump says he sleeps on at the White House. My Pillow commercials have aired approximately 7 million times making Lindell one of the most recognizable faces on television.
