Accuracy in Media

In June first lady Melania Trump created quite a buzz when she was seen wearing an army-green jacket with the words “I Really Don’t Care Do U?” emblazoned on the back ahead of an unannounced visit to  a child detention center during the fight over those that had crossed the border illegally and were allegedly being separated from their families.

At the time the White House said their was no specific meaning to the jacket.

But in an interview with ABC’s Tom Llamas on Friday Mrs. Trump said that it was aimed at the left-wing media’s coverage of her.

“Melania Trump tells she wore the ‘I really don’t care’ jacket “for the people and for the left-wing media who are criticizing me. And I want to show them that I don’t care,”” ABC News tweeted.

Trump also told Llamas that  she could say that she is “the most bullied person on the world,” based on what people say about her.

Unlike previous first ladies there has been very little positive coverage of Trump since the inauguration.
