Too often, the liberal media quotes leaders and national figures without mentioned their Democratic Party ties or position OR whether they are longtime critics of President Donald Trump. In the case of the Anne Frank Center’s Steven Goldstein and the Anti-Defamation League’s Jonathan Greenblatt, they have issued statements that are anti-Trump in nature.
The Hill pointed out, of all the liberal media outlets, that Goldstein has criticized President Trump before on social media:
“And in a post earlier this year, Goldstein claimed Trump “is driving our nation off a moral cliff.”
With Greenblatt and the ADL, they have been strong critics of the Trump administration’s executive order on refugees and vetting (even filing an amicus brief to challenge Trump’s executive order) and his alleged avoidance of answering questions on anti-Semitism:
- A press release condemning Trump’s avoidance of answering questions on anti-Semitism and calling it “mind-boggling”
- Greenblatt’s blog about the omission of “Jews” from the White House’s statement on the anniversary of the Holocaust
ADL has also praised previous President Barack Obama on his condemnation of anti-Semitism, which is a stark contrast to their treatment of Trump.
