Alabama senatorial candidate for the GOP, Roy Moore, is under fire for allegations of dating underaged girls when he was in his early thirties in the 1970s, per a Washington Post article last Thursday that quoted several women and multiple other anonymous sources.

Roy Moore’s campaign fired back and said the claims were false and Moore planned to sue the newspaper on defamation grounds. His recent comments to radio host and Fox News host Sean Hannity did not appear to exonerate him in the eyes of the public, either, where he did not explicitly deny that he dated underage girls.

The media has pounced on the news and rightfully so; the people of Alabama should know if Moore dated underage girls when he was in his thirties.
