Colin Kaepernick, who is not a stranger to controversy, is battling for the starting job for the NFL franchise San Francisco 49ers. Over the weekend, he was sitting down during the playing of the American National Anthem and gave an interview to NFL.com on why he did so, which was due to his perceptions of how black Americans have been mistreated in America.
