So sensitive? After the publishing of the ‘Google memo,’ where (former) Google engineer James Damore criticized the lack of ideological diversity at the company and it became viral news, several female employees at Google stayed home from work the next day because they felt “uncomfortable.”
NPR reported:
Another software engineer who used to work for Google, Kelly Ellis, says some women who still work at the company stayed home Monday because the memo made them “uncomfortable going back to work.”
Apparently, one person’s memo made people uncomfortable enough to miss work the next day, even when that person was fired that day. Yet, the liberal media did not feel it was important to highlight, outside of NPR.
Wouldn’t that be newsworthy, to highlight how sensitive people are these days in response to a memo of a now-fired employee? Are people too sensitive nowadays?
