It seems like it is an anti-Trump hit piece/narrative gone wrong. Why?
The Department of Education Secretary under the Trump administration, Betsy DeVos, takes her own private plane to fly to work-related events across the country. She does not ask for reimbursement for the expenses, yet the liberal media felt it was necessary to point out that she does take her private plane to events.
Politico’s headline? “DeVos travels the country on her private jet and foots the bill.”
CNN said, “DeVos travels on her own private plane, but pays for it.”
So taxpayers are not being left out to dry, so what’s the big deal, liberal media?
