Accuracy in Media

President Donald Trump fired FBI director James Comey and now there is a need for a replacement at the top of the government agency. NBC News and CNN began to float possible names for Comey’s replacement. Here’s what they came up with:

  • Rudy Giuliani, former New York City mayor
  • Chris Christie, New Jersey governor
  • Ray Kelly, former police commissioner of New York City
  • John Pistole, former FBI deputy director under President George W. Bush
  • Andrew McCabe, current acting FBI director
  • William Evanina, Office of National Intelligence
  • Adam Lee, special agent-in-charge in Richmond, Virginia
  • Michael Anderson, special agent-in-charge in Chicago, Illinois
  • Paul Abbate, FBI Executive Assistant Director for the Criminal, Cyber, Response and Services Branch

But, it begs the question, do they know what President Trump is thinking?
