CNN’s Jake Tapper has been critical of the Women’s March for its links to controversial Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan.
Farrakhan has made multiple anti-Semitic remarks in the past and it was recently reported he was still close with several Democratic Party politicians.
A reporter admitted he suppressed photograph of Obama posing with Farrakhan and other Congressional Black Caucus leaders for fear that it would have led to negative press for Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign. It was also discovered that Democratic congressman Keith Ellison, despite public denunciations of Farrakhan, had dinner with the Nation of Islam leader as recently as 2013.
Tapper took to Twitter and criticized the Women’s March for not disavowing Farrakhan and dodging questions of their continued relationship with the Nation of Islam, pointing out their hypocrisy as the organization claims to be inclusive to all religions and faiths.
