The media may be panning the televised speech President Trump gave Tuesday, but the initial ratings proved that Americans wanted to hear what the president had to say. Fox News led the way in total viewership, beating all of cable and broadcast television.
According to Nielsen, Fox drew 8,044,000 viewers beating MSNBC (4,243,000) and CNN (3,751,000) combined.
Fox edged out CBS, which, according to industry sources, attracted 8,043,000 viewers followed by NBC (7,043,00) and ABC (4,432,000).
In the all-important 25-54 demographic Fox drew 1,870,000 viewers followed by CNN with 1,388,000 and MSNBC with 811,000.
