According to a digital and fundraising director for the Donald Trump campaign, Twitter and their CEO Jack Dorsey did restrict (and in some cases, nixed) social media advertisements and hashtags on the social media platform. One particular case was their proposed #CrookedHillary hashtag, which would have come with a moneybags ’emoji’ (or picture icon at the end of a hashtag).
