Humberto Fontova, a Cuban dissident, dissects recent claims by Democratic congressman Keith Ellison (D-MN) on how Cuban health care is very good. Ellison said, “The countries like Cuba or Canada or Russia or a lot of places in this world spend half what we spend per capita and they got better health outcomes than we do.”
Fontova pointed out how Cuban medical statistics are fabricated by the communist regime in Cuba and how Cuban doctors routinely flunk medical exams to practice in the U.S. Why isn’t this getting reported?
Yet, the media largely ignored Ellison’s claims, which points to a bigger problem of liberal bias in not correcting myths put forward by the Left.
