Accuracy in Media

In analyzing CNN’s fact-check of Sunday night’s presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, Accuracy in Media found that there was a major gap between CNN fact-checking Trump compared to fact-checking Clinton. Trump was fact-checked 18 times out of 24 times by CBS News, with Clinton fact-checked 6 times total. Of those fact-checks, Clinton had all 6 facts rated ‘true’. Trump had 9 ‘false’ facts, 6 ‘true’ facts, 2 ‘mostly-partly true’ facts and 1 ‘unclear’ fact.

Again, isn’t this ratio really unbalanced and appears to be unfair?
