CNN political analyst April Ryan, a frequent critic of President Trump was forced to delete a tweet she sent out yesterday afternoon about Trump being heckled and booed at a White House event after it was proven to be untrue.

The event which was originally scheduled to celebrate and honor the Philadelphia Eagles for their Super Bowl victory¬† was changed to an event to celebrate America after the White House was informed that several members of the team wouldn’t be attending because they disagree with President Trump.

Ryan’s now deleted tweet said “Breaking: Reporters on the South Lawn confirmed @realDonaldTrump was heckled and booed when he came out to celebrate America.”

That tweet was sent out at 12:18 p.m.  A few hours later Ryan issued the following tweet:

About a half-hour later Ryan tweeted that she deleted the original tweet and admitted that the reporters actually didn’t witness everything that was going on at the time.

CNN White House producer Noah Gray called Ryan out for her erroneous tweet.

CNN has been heavily criticized by President Trump for reporting “fake news” and this incident will not help their reputation.
