Accuracy in Media

CNN, far from a neutral news source, wrote a very long piece on President Trump’s relationship with the country’s intelligence agencies. However, they buried the truth that the liberal media overestimated how many intelligence agencies believed the Russian government meddled in the 2016 election.

Where did they admit the truth? In the 3oth and 31st paragraphs:

“Let me just start off by saying I heard it was 17 agencies,” Trump said. “I said, ‘Boy that’s a lot.’ Do we even have that many intelligence agencies? Right? Let’s check it. And we did some very heavy research. It turned out to be three or four. It wasn’t 17.”
Trump is correct that The New York Times and The Associated Press issued a correction and clarification for stating that the 17 agencies that make up the US intelligence community all concluded Russia meddled in the election.

Why bury the reality that the liberal media got their narrative wrong, that only 4 out of 17 intelligence agencies believed Russia meddled in the 2016 election so far down in the piece?
