Accuracy in Media

All CBS News was able to prove in their tax return analytical piece is that President Donald Trump, in 2005, paid between 24% and 25% tax rate on his income. The difference of 1% could be up to $1 million. The White House said he paid $38 million in taxes that year, or 24%, while CBS News said it could be as high as 25%.

$38 million in taxes is not chump change, by the way.

The leak of his tax returns demonstrated that Trump did not avoid paying taxes (at least at that point in time) and is not stealing from the government, which was an allegation made by the Left during the campaign.
