Accuracy in Media

News broke last week that Hillary Clinton shielded a campaign aide from getting fired from her 2008 presidential campaign.

The New York Times broke the story, which detailed how former aide Burns Strider upset a female staffer over his actions.

Despite pleadings from female staffers, Clinton kept him on the campaign. He was docked pay and suspended to seek treatment and counseling.

He later worked at a pro-Clinton group but was fired after a sexual harassment incident.

The majority of mainstream media outlets such as MSNBC and CNN, in addition to USA Today, covered the story.
