The Trump administration released 22 names to advocacy groups, which had sued the Trump administration in court over Freedom of Information Act on knowing who visited the Trump organization-owned Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. The names were people who were a part of Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s visiting delegation during his visit with Trump.
Mainstream media was unhappy with the lack of names being released to the public.
The Obama administration also resisted making their logs public and acquiesced after a lawsuit was filed against them.
