A Century Of Climate Alarmism

The establishment media’s reluctance to cover [1] the “ClimateGate” scandal [2] featuring revelatory e-mails among climate scientists isn’t the first instance of media bias in climate science. It has been a problem for at least a century [3], based on the headlines featured in the latest episode of Silicon Graffiti from blogger Ed Driscoll.

But neither climate scientists [4] nor the media [5] can bury the news today as effectively as in the past because the public no longer just passively consume information. They actively share it because journalists won’t.

“In the bizzaro world of today’s legacy media,” Driscoll says at the end of his video commentary, “that’s the public’s job. They report; the actual reporters ‘hide the decline.'”
