11 Police Officers Shot, 5 Fatally, in Ambush in Dallas, Texas

Five police officers lost their lives in a sniper-style ambush in downtown Dallas, Texas, and six others were wounded. There were at least two sniper suspects and it led to a standoff that ended at about 3:30 am.
