WASHINGTON — Yahoo’s revamp of its operations and sales seems to have hit a road bump.
Reuters reports that Marissa Mayer, who became Yahoo’s CEO over a year ago, may not be able to orchestrate as quick a turnaround as hoped.
The initial reports about the 2013 revenue are now downgraded and the optimism has dissipated for the time being as Yahoo continues to see reductions in their display advertising revenue. Their revenue at this point last year was much higher, a difference of $100,000.
The Internet giant sought a reboot with the hiring of Mayer, but it looks like it may take longer than expected.
